Core Features and Design:
Modular Frame Structure
The circuit breaker body consists of an insulating frame, contact system, arc extinguishing system, tripping system, and operating mechanism. The modular design of components facilitates disassembly, maintenance, and functional expansion.
Operating methods include manual operation (handle/lever) and electric operation (electromagnet/motor). Some high-end models support remote opening and closing.
Large Capacity and High Breaking Capacity
Rated operating current covers 630A–6300A (some models can reach 10000A), and the rated breaking capacity reaches up to 150kA, enabling rapid interruption of severe short-circuit faults in the power distribution system and limiting the spread of fault energy.
Multi-level protection functions
Trip devices are divided into two categories: thermal-magnetic trip and intelligent electronic trip:
Thermo-magnetic trip: Overload inverse-time protection + short-circuit instantaneous protection; simple structure, low cost, suitable for conventional power distribution;
Intelligent electronic trip: Equipped with four levels of protection: long-delay (L), short-delay (S), instantaneous (I), and ground fault (G); protection parameters can be precisely set, achieving selective coordination with downstream circuit breakers to avoid large-scale power outages.
