Core features and advantages:
Independent Compartments, Safe and Reliable
The three compartments are physically separated, completely isolating the high-voltage live parts from the low-voltage parts and the transformer, providing fire prevention and arc spread prevention capabilities; the "five-proof" interlocking function is comprehensive, eliminating misoperation and ensuring the personal safety of maintenance personnel.
Convenient Maintenance and Strong Expandability
Each compartment has an independent door, the transformer can be hoisted and replaced as a whole, and the low-voltage outgoing circuits can be added or removed as needed. Later, reactive power compensation, intelligent monitoring and control modules can be added to adapt to load growth and distribution network intelligent transformation needs.
Strong Environmental Adaptability
The enclosure is made of corrosion-resistant cold-rolled steel plate or stainless steel, with a protection level ≥IP54, and some models can reach IP65. It has rainproof, dustproof, condensation-proof, and salt spray-proof capabilities, suitable for harsh outdoor conditions from -40℃ to +50℃.
Limitations
Larger Size: Compared to American-style prefabricated substations, European-style prefabricated substations occupy a larger area and require more installation space.
Higher cost: The structure and component configuration are more complex, resulting in an overall cost higher than that of an American-style prefabricated substation of the same capacity.
Slightly longer installation period: The split structure requires on-site assembly and commissioning, making the construction period slightly longer than that of an American-style prefabricated substation.
