Solid-Sealed Terminals and Vacuum Interruptor

 

The vacuum interrupter chamber incorporates epoxy resin-sealed terminals, providing a fully sealed, maintenance-free, moisture-proof, dust-proof, and shock-resistant design. The interrupting medium is vacuum, offering strong breaking capacity, zero SF₆ emissions, environmental friendliness, and high efficiency. Insulation recovery after interruption is rapid, making it suitable for switching capacitive loads (e.g., capacitor banks) using ABB Group technology.

 

Modular EL-Type Spring Operating Mechanism

 

Utilizing an energy-storage spring mechanism, it allows for manual/electric energy storage, enabling opening and closing without auxiliary power. It boasts a mechanical life of up to 30,000 cycles (mainstream specifications) and long maintenance intervals. It features anti-jump and locking safety designs, supports door-to-door handcart operation, and is compatible with ABB Group's "five-proof" interlocking system.

 

Flexible Installation and Adaptability

 

Supports both fixed and withdrawable (truck-mounted) installation methods. The truck can be pushed in/pulled out with the door closed. Standardized dimensions and electrical interfaces allow for interchangeability with ABB HD4 gas circuit breakers, adapting to various switchgear and OEM requirements within the ABB Group.

 

Intelligent Upgrade Capabilities

 

The iVD4 series integrates contact arm temperature measurement, mechanism status monitoring, and secondary circuit diagnostics. Data can be accessed through the ABB Ability cloud platform, enabling predictive maintenance, reducing unplanned power outages, and lowering operation and maintenance costs.
